In addition to floor space renovation and expansion activities, ASD installed iCAT-ITS™ four-post distribution racks, iCAT-ITS™ two-post distribution racks,as well as more than 40,000 feet of inter-rack iCAT-ITS™ Category 6a 10MG 6103 asd 150x150 Automated Systems Design (ASD) Assists Corus360 with Atlanta Data Center Expansion gigabit cable, manufactured by ASD. The Recovery Center also includes ASD’s inter-rack iGLO-ITS™12-strand fiber cables, exceeding 108 fiber strands. The Recovery Center is the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certified Recovery Center of its kind in the state of Georgia.

March 8,2011, Atlanta, Ga. – Automated Systems Design (ASD) was tasked by Georgia Institute of Technology to take on two campus wide wireless access wap ga tech e1299599242794 300x249 Georgia Institute of Technology Approves Automated Systems Design (ASD) iCAT ITS Cable for Campus Wireless Access Point Projectspoint initiatives. The first project, took place in the summer of 2010 spanned seven of the college’s buildings including the: John Saylor Coon, Institute of Paper Science and Technology, Molecular Science and Engineering, J. Erskine Love Jr. Manufacturing, Instructional Center, College of Computing and Howey Physics Buildings. This complex and delicate installation included Category 5e cable and 28 Wireless Access Points (WAP) across the seven different historic buildings. Bill Lawrence, Senior Project Director at the Georgia Institute of Technology said, “With major renovations, wireless access points are high priority to ensure we stay two steps ahead of the students and the technology they use. The team at ASD did an excellent job maneuvering around the campus and getting the job done according to our tight schedules. ”
